Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Killers will co-headline next year’s Big Day Out after the lineup was announced at midnight.
Also on the bill are Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Band of Horses and Vampire Weekend with the 2013 festival shaping up to be one of the biggest yet.
The announcement comes after much speculation, especially following a series of fake Big Day Out posters that were circulated online recently.
